Foundation & Planning
November 2025
Goal:
Build a clear study plan, shortlist universities, and prepare all initial documents.
Objectives
- Understand how U.S. undergraduate admission works.
- Select your academic major and target universities.
- Get ready with personal and academic documentation.
What Students Do
- Learn U.S. admission system (Common App, deadlines, etc.).
- Research and shortlist 8–12 universities.
- Verify documents (Passport, Transcripts, Certificates).
- Register for IELTS / TOEFL / SAT.
- Attend first counseling session.
Deliverables
- University shortlist, Common App account, Test registration.
Goal:
Strengthen your academic profile and prepare all application materials.
Objectives
- Develop a compelling personal story.
- Collect official recommendations and transcripts.
- Build a well-organized resume.
What Students Do
- Write Common App Personal Essay (650 words) & Supplement Essays.
- Create a one-page academic resume (CV).
- Collect 2–3 Recommendation Letters (LORs).
- Finalize test results and attend workshops.
Deliverables
- Final Personal Essay, CV, LORs requested, Test results.
Profile Building & Essay Development
November - December 2025
Application Submission (Common App)
December 2025 - January 15, 2026
Goal:
Complete and submit university applications.
Objectives
- Accurately complete all Common App sections.
- Upload verified academic & personal details.
What Students Do
- Fill Common App sections (Profile, Family, Education, etc.).
- Invite recommenders and assign them to colleges.
- Request application fee waivers (if applicable).
- Submit all applications before deadlines (Early & Regular).
Deliverables
- All target applications submitted & confirmation emails received.
Goal:
Apply for institutional financial aid and scholarships.
Objectives
- Complete required financial aid forms (CSS Profile / ISFAA).
- Ensure transparency in financial documents.
What Students Do
- CSS Profile submission for CSS schools.
- ISFAA Form submission for non-CSS schools.
- Upload supporting documents (Income statement, Bank letter, etc.).
Deliverables
- CSS Profile / ISFAA submitted for all schools.
Financial Aid Submission (CSS / ISFAA)
December 2025 - January 15, 2026
Admission Decision & Enrollment
Approx. March - April 2026
Goal:
Choose the best-fit university and confirm your spot.
What Students Do
- Review acceptance letters & financial aid results.
- Compare total cost vs. scholarship coverage.
- Choose final institution and submit enrollment deposit.
- Request I-20 Form from chosen university.
Deliverables
- I-20 form received, enrollment confirmation completed.
Goal:
Secure student visa for U.S. entry.
What Students Do
- Pay SEVIS Fee ($350) & Visa Application Fee ($185).
- Fill DS-160 Form and book interview.
- Prepare visa interview file (I-20, Financials, Academics).
- Attend mock interview session with counselor.
- Attend visa interview at the U.S. Embassy.
Deliverables
- F-1 Visa approved, passport with visa received.
F-1 Visa Preparation & Interview

Pre-Departure & Orientation
Approx. July - August 2026
Goal:
Prepare for travel and smooth transition to U.S. campus life.
What Students Do
- Book flight tickets and arrange housing.
- Attend Pre-Departure Orientation.
